A Closer Look

I have 23 days until I will be stepping on the plane and diving into the mission God has sent me to in India. With school coming near end and the stress that comes with it, I cant help but stop and thank God for the blessings he continues to pour in my life! This trip is one of them, and you are each part of this blessing! I am so encouraged by the letters and support I have received, it brings a greater purpose to this mission. Thank You!

Sex Trafficking in INDIA

Tonight while we are sound asleep 26 million poor and broken children in India will be brutally raped by strangers. With India being the epicenter of child sex trafficking, this has become the normal life of children most between the ages of 11-14.

On May 6th I will be traveling to India as a group with Saved By Nails to join in the efforts to rescue and restore the lives of millions of children, one precious girl at a time. As my heart continues to be pierced by statistics and stories, God has given me the desire to take a step forward and “…bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release the prisoners from darkness…” (Isaiah 61:1)

In January 2010 many of you supported me and prayed as God led me into a dark and massive industry, joining XXXCHURCH I was able to pass out 2,000 bibles at a Porn Convention in Las, Vegas and have hour long conversations with many Porn Stars about Gods love for them. I was blown away by their responses and desire to know more! You’re support changed lives!

Will you join me once again? In James 5:16 it reads, “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." I believe the greatest gift is knowing that others are praying for the work God is doing through me. It brings me peace knowing God has gone before me so that I may be filled with the spirit to be an effective tool for Gods Kingdom in the $28 billion industry of sexual slavery. Prayer is essential for safety, courage, and ultimately bringing the gospel to the hearts of Gods children.

As the trip is approaching quickly I realize the need of financial support as well. The total price is $2500; I have around $1500 to raise in the next three weeks. With no obligation, if you would like to support the finances of this trip. You can make a check to Saved By Nails (It is tax-deductible) or to myself. Again whether financially or in prayer your support means the world to me! I am so excited for what God has planned and know that you are a part of it.

God doesn’t need me, however I am so blessed that he is willing to use me, an ordinary girl, a sinner, to bring the hope of him to the trapped and broken girls in India, this May.

Sing a NEW song!! Psalms is constantly reminding me to “Sing to the Lord a new song, sing to the Lord all the earth” – “sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things” The Lord continues to make himself known to me, and pave out the path before me as I search for his will to be done. Recently I have been at a real strong spiritual battle with the enemy, and praise God for he has CONQUERED the grave!!! For he is worthy and holy of all! And as I look to the Lord I remember to sing a new song for joy, and new song of his love, for each experience is new and deserves to be given thanks to our Heavenly Father!!! Praise God!!! As my heart continues to hurt for the women in the sex industry, new opportunity has opened up for this summer, and I am praying that God leads me in the right direction so I would be used for his kingdom in the most beneficial way. Please continue to pray as I seek out Gods plan, and for discernment in my walk with him! God Bless---

Back to School!!

Wow, it has been crazy to be back to college after spending five days at a porn convention. I have now made it through a week of school and adjusted to my new schedule. The lord has really answered prayers in many areas . Not only on the trip but since i have been back my mind has been clear of the images I was surrounded by. I have kept in contact with two men that I met on the convention floor, one is David who emailed me on this past Thursday and Roddy a man from China, who emailed me about the bible and asked me some questions , which was super encouraging to know that they two people I gave emails to, responded within a week!! Praise God!! He is doing amazing work, and sure it may be weeks, months or years until I see results but it doesn’t matter because God is at work and that gives me hope! I will continue to pray for the people who I encountered on this trip and look into interning this summer with xxxchurch if the lord is calling me to this ministry. I was also able to connect with two women from Arizona so I may get involved with the sex trafficking that is happening there. I will continue to pray and ask God to lead me down his perfect path as I trust him with every step. Thanks so much and I will continue to write on this blog, with stories about the trip and work that the lord is doing in my life!

I am here in Vegas!!.. a little nervous to see what may happens in the next couple days but more excited because I know the power of the Holy Spirit, and he is alive and working.

Day one--As I stepped into the convention center to go set up our booth I realized that I was being exposed to more nude women and sexual objects that I could ever imagine in one place and one time. Not only were these 10foot posters available to see, I knew these women would be walking around in the days to come. They are real girls, real women who have a story, and the lord has a purpose for their life, I know this is not where he wants them to be. I am not coming to condemn, judge or even preach to them.. I am here to listen and offer my service with the love of Christ. God has a story for each of them. He wants these women to know they are loved unconditionally and I have faith that through prayer and God leading conversation the holy spirit will speak to the inmost part of these ladies and touch their soft and hurting hearts. Please pray that I have to strength and courage to treat each person as a sister a friend, and a daughter of the King, for they are deserving of Gods grace and love. To not judge or stare but rather pray and serve, to be overflowing with Gods love that I am shining in this dark place. May the words be seasoned with salt, drawing the conversation to the gospel and love of Christ Jesus, making them eager to know more in his name--- Thank you so much for your prayers- I will be at the convention today from 1-6pm, and then in the strip club from 10-12pm—Pray for Gods path to be made straight so that our team can trust that the Lord is being glorified by each conversation and action we make!
